Please note: This course is completed 100% online

Course Description

This fully online course develops the knowledge and skills required to understand and work with basic information about the human body, while recognising and promoting strategies that support healthy functioning. It provides learners with the foundation needed to apply anatomy and physiology concepts in a range of care, support, and community services roles.

As a student, you will explore the structure and functions of body systems, the resources required to maintain health, and the ways the body protects itself against infection. The course also highlights the role of both active and passive physical activity in supporting wellbeing. These skills are relevant to anyone who needs to interpret information referencing client anatomy and physiology, particularly in the health, community, and aged care sectors.
